I grew up in Seattle, WA and did my undergrad at the University of Washington. I received my Master’s from Penn and am now a Lecturer in CIS. I love teaching, rock climbing, reading, playing games, and swing dancing among much else. Stop on by my office hours for help with the course, general school advice, or just to chat!

Hi, I’m Brandon Kee! I studied Biomedical Engineering for my undergrad and came to Penn’s MCIT program to bring together my interests in biotech, software, and AI/ML. I’m also on the board for CIT59x, where I get to help build the MCIT community here at Penn. When I’m not studying, you can usually find me running along the Schuylkill Trail or baking something new.
Mingtian (MT) Chen

Hi everyone! I’m Mingtian, but you can just call me MT. I’m a second-year MCIT student at Penn, and before that I studied Business Psychology and Economics at UC San Diego. I’m into strategy board games like Splendor and Hanabi, love anime (Hunter x Hunter, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Slam Dunk), and I also play basketball when I’m not debugging. Excited to be your TA this semester!

Hi everyone! I’m Tiffany, a second-year MCIT student at Penn. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, and I stay active through Pilates, swimming, and hitting the gym. I’m always happy to chat—whether it’s about class or finding the best boba spots in Philly. Feel free to reach out anytime! :)

Hello! I am Varun, from Mumbai, India. I did my undergraduate degree in business and finance. I also got my accounting license while pursuing my undergraduate studies. For over five years in India, I have worked in product finance and advisory roles. I was always fascinated by computers as a child, and the MCIT program finally gave me an opportunity to pursue that dream :) I enjoy learning languages (I can speak Hindi, English, and I am currently learning Spanish, French, and Tamizh), Music and ICE CREAM.
